2-Day Course
Mastering 3D Printed Dentures
This masterclass is tailored to equip clinicians with the essential skills and knowledge for creating high-quality full and temporary partial dentures using 3D printing techniques. Over two intensive days, participants will engage in interactive sessions and hands-on activities to master effecient digital planning and design processes.
This course provides a deep dive into advanced digital dentistry practices, offering practical tools and insights to enhance your capability in delivering precise, patient-centred denture solutions within just two visits.
Course outline
Accurate data acquisition is the foundation of creating precise dentures. You’ll learn techniques for capturing comprehensive patient data, including intraoral scans and digital mock-ups, to ensure a perfect fit and optimal function.
Designing dentures digitally offers precision and flexibility that traditional methods can’t match. You’ll learn how to use CAD software (e.g., exocad, Medit Link) to create detailed and customised denture designs, including adjustments for aesthetics and functionality.
Effective digital planning allows for the customisation of dentures to meet each patient’s unique needs. We’ll guide you through the process of analysing the acquired data, setting up the digital workflow, and preparing for the design phase.
3D printing enables the rapid production of both full and temporary partial dentures directly from your digital designs. We’ll cover the entire printing process, from material selection to post-processing, ensuring your final product is both durable and patient-ready.
