Dr. Sonny Lee graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2008 and furthered his expertise with a Diploma of Advanced Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry from the University of Portsmouth.
Dr. Sonny is deeply committed to leveraging technology to enhance patient care. He founded the D.R.I.P. study club and the Australian Digital Dentistry Academy to educate fellow clinicians in digital dentistry. Additionally, he is actively involved in charitable work, co-leading the local dental charity TIMA since 2015 and co-founding the international humanitarian dental charity CHIARA in Myanmar in 2018.
Dr. Sonny's practice embraces evidence-based technology, including microscope screening and early intervention techniques, to mitigate the risk of irreversible periodontal damage. As the principal dentist and owner of Leeming Dental, his practice utilises advanced digital dentistry techniques. They have an in-house digital dental lab that fabricates 90% of laboratory work through CAD/CAM, milling and 3D printing technology.
Dr. Sonny aims to share his passion and expertise to inspire clinicians to practice digital dentistry and find greater joy in their daily work.
