Dr. Sonny Lee
Digital Workflow Integration & CAD/CAM
Dr. Lee, a graduate of the University of Western Australia with advanced training in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from the University of Portsmouth, is a trailblazer in digital dentistry innovation. As the principal dentist at Leeming Dental, he has transformed traditional practices by pioneering the integration of digital workflows. His in-house digital dental laboratory produces 90% of prosthetics using cutting-edge CAD/CAM, milling, and 3D printing technologies.
A passionate advocate for education and community service, Dr. Lee is committed to advancing the field of digital dentistry. He founded the D.R.I.P. study club to promote knowledge sharing among dental professionals and established the Australian Digital Dentistry Academy to provide world-class training in digital dental techniques. Dedicated to giving back, Dr. Lee co-leads TIMA, a local dental charity, and co-founded CHIARA, an international humanitarian dental charity in Myanmar, reflecting his deep commitment to making a global impact.
Dr. Lee is an authority in the field of digital dentistry practice and education, specialising in CAD/CAM, intraoral scanning, and implant restorations. As the founding educator of the Australian Digital Dentistry Academy (ADDA), he has trained countless professionals in advanced digital workflows. Recognised globally for his expertise, Dr. Lee will join the MOD Symposium 2025 to share insights on digital workflow integration and the future of modern dentistry.
